DSCI Corporation announces today that it has signed a letter of intent to interconnect with the MassBroadband 123 fiber network, operated by Axia NGNetworks USA. When completed in mid-2013, the MassBroadband 123 network will include 1,300 miles of fiber across 120 communities, covering over one-third of the state of Massachusetts.
The interconnection will give DSCI the opportunity to work with more than 44,000 businesses and 1,400 public safety facilities, community colleges, libraries, medical facilities, and town halls throughout north central and western Massachusetts that are currently underserved in terms of broadband connectivity.
